Title: Why do japense get more?
Post by: Ashba Rocks on December 28, 2009, 02:42:09 PM
I was thinking, the japense audience seem quite mellow at GNR gigs, but they always seem to get the best, the GNR live DVD from 92 was in tokyo, they got an extra track on live era, i was just wondering if anyone could point as to why ?

Lots of albums seem to come with "Japan-only" songs. Slash just released a Japan-only single, with a Japanese singer on it. Seems to be a common thing, but I'm not quite sure what the reason is. As for the DVD, that probably just happened to be shot in Japan.

Either that, or Axl is part-Japanese and we don't know about it....

Probably because GN'R sell well in Japan and are very popular there. I don't think it's anything mysterious.

Japanese albums often have bonus tracks because imported albums are cheaper than the Japanese ones.

So the bonus tracks are there to make people buy the more expensive Japanese editions.
