Post by: grabaraxl on December 20, 2009, 07:03:43 AM ok, i'm not bitching about the current set lists, i mean they're th best thing i could hope for a gn'r show, but with the band playing whole lotta rosie and a couple of new covers like sonic reducer or my generation, and being a huge fan of the sftd version, i think it sound great with fortus, bumble and ashba.

They can make a whole different setlist each concert if they want to. Not bitching about what they've done so far of course. IMO "Sympathy for the Devil", GnR's version, is great and it's like the right song that they did in the wrong time. They should try revisiting it now, with this line-up, for sure it would kick ass. I'd move it to the top of my list of covers.

I love almost everything that any member of Guns has ever done and I'm a huge Axl fan but I hate their version of SFTD, its so wide of the mark of everything that the orginal captures.

Id rather see 'sympathy' played any day over live n let die or heaavens door.
