I was hoping someone would do something like this. It would be cool if we could sticky the setlists for each show and then have this running total at the top of the page. So no Riad yet?
Title: Re: Songs Played Tally: Chinese Democracy Tour 2009-2010 Post by: Apollon on December 19, 2009, 11:19:42 AM Well until now it's following percentage:
CD 39 % AfD 29 % Lies 3 % UYI 18 % NonGnR 10 % (All Songs played in 2009) Title: Re: Songs Played Tally: Chinese Democracy Tour 2009-2010 Post by: Fingers on December 19, 2009, 11:21:32 AM The setlists are amazing-I'm hoping it's this for Canada
Title: Re: Songs Played Tally: Chinese Democracy Tour 2009-2010 Post by: russkwtx on December 19, 2009, 11:29:27 AM The band had to learn a lot of songs for this tour.
Let's hope they do another 8.3.91 at some point and play everything they know in one huge show. That would be cool. Title: Re: Songs Played Tally: Chinese Democracy Tour 2009-2010 Post by: faldor on December 19, 2009, 12:34:25 PM Great idea.
I know someone did this before but I forget where it was posted. They tallied up the total number of times they played each song in the history of the band. It was a few years back. It's in his signature I think. Someone be good and post the link here. Title: Re: Songs Played Tally: Chinese Democracy Tour 2009-2010 Post by: Jim Bob on December 21, 2009, 03:01:00 AM Chinese Democracy has become an album where every single song has been played live. Awesome. : ok:

That surely shouldn't stop them playing it live? I don't think there's any restrictions on what a band plays live. Unless they're planning on releasing these shows in some sort of official capacity and are merely thinking ahead just in case they lose in court.... Nah, they probably just haven't felt like playing it.... :) Title: Re: Songs Played Tally: Chinese Democracy Tour 2009-2010 Post by: kaasupoltin on December 21, 2009, 05:03:47 PM ..I don't think there's any restrictions on what a band plays live.. I actually think there is. I don't know how it really works, but in theory you can't play songs live if you don't have the permission for that particular song. But you know.. does any band really care about that :D But in this case it might have something to do with the lawsuit. And when it comes down to playing in a bar/club, owner of the place is responsible for having a license from the group or who ever has the rights. Or at least that was the case a couple of years ago, there were lawsuits and all kinds of shit (found this for example: http://pittsburghlive.com/x/pittsburghtrib/news/rss/s_489572.html). These laws keep changing all the time though.. Anyway, we're getting way offtopic here. It will be nice if we can keep this going as the tour progresses. Especially since the Asia, Canadian and the upcoming South American tours are the first since the albums release.
