Title: Concert Videos

Are any of the shows being shot for video? I know alot of the 2006 shows are on youtube, and look pretty professional quality. It would be neat to see some clips! Maybe on the gnr website they will put some up again?

All the shows are filmed, though never officially released. Not since 1992.

Rock in Rio was live broadcast in 2006 (Professionally Shot) as was Rock-Am-Ring (Professionally Shot) and are out there on bootlegs.

As I said, the last official GNR release was 1992 (I think...?).

They hosted two/three clips from Download Fest. 06 on the website for a little while, shortly took them down though.

Best chances are for real filmers to go and risk getting caught and film it with their video cameras, time will tell though!

Cotis, was that Chicago show from 92 or 93  that got released a year or so ago an official release? It's been out for a long time (on the tracker) as a bootleg, and I recall seeing it in a store (I think Best Buy) and I remember people on the boards talking about it. It was a good show, but I think most of us already had it.

thanks for the info. I never saw it (only the boot leg that's been around), but I heard it was edited and songs were cut out.
