It would certainly appear so.  Would make sense, since Baz is friends with Axl and Canadian himself.  Not familiar with Danko Jones

Danko Jones are also canadian and hung out with BBF while they were playing there and he was rehearsing  ;D Had a feeling this would happen, fuckin' crazy..

danko will also have a new record coming out early next year :headbanger:

Good spot sir! So obviously we all know about Bach, anyone a fan of Danko Jones? Never heard of 'em personally, assuming they're a fairly new band?

Nice catch :) Makes sense. Baz has done it before, and Danko Jones are Canadian, decently popular, but not big enough to fill venues like these on their own (which is the problem with someone like Billy Talent, who have their own tour going on a few months later).

Can we still get the Suicide Girls?  ;D

It'd be cool to see Baz join Axl onstage nightly to perform "Sorry" instead of "My Michelle" this time around.

Danko is listed by live nation for all the shows I checked.

They're decently popular across the country so I'd assume they're doing the whole tour.

It's a decent bill. Feels all too familiar, though. Hopefully, it doesn't deter a casual fan from seeing the same show as last time.

Danko Jones has been around longer than the new incarnation of Guns. It seems like every couple years he has a by-the-numbers rock hit on Canadian radio. He's an entertaining enough performer.

Danko Jones is a three-piece hard rock band from Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

The band consists of Danko Jones (vocals/guitar), JC (also known as John Calabrese) (bass guitar), and Dan Cornelius (drums).

Danko Jones, Sebastian Bach Opening Guns N' Roses' Canadian Dates

10/28/09

Today must be the greatest day of Danko Jones' hard rockin' life.

Former Skid Row frontman Sebastian Bach, along with Jones and his band of the same name, have been tapped to open Guns N' Roses' upcoming Canadian tour.

Bach will be joined by guitarist Nick Sterling, drummer Bobby Jarzombek, bassist Rob DeLuca and either guitarist Johnny Chromatic or Charlie Bellmore on the trek, which kicks off Jan. 13 in Winnipeg.

Danko Jones are touring in support of last year's Never Too Loud, while Guns N' Roses are out for Chinese Democracy.

You can see GN'R, Danko Jones and Bach here:

Our band covers "Bounce" which was referred to as "Take It All Off" earlier in this thread.  They're a good band, I've seen them live a couple of times.  I'm not sure who to compare them to...maybe White Stripes as far their song structures go.  "First Date" and "Sticky Situation" are two of my other favourites.

Danko Jones will perform in Brazil in November. I'll catch them (I guess it's on the same lineup from the festival where Faith No More will play) and tell you guys if it's any good. :)

a little quick to judge there aren't you ;) don't forget that some bands and records takes some time for some to enjoy, i think you shouldn't give up on Danko yet.. check out other songs then the singles

sleep is the enemy is probably my favorite record

also Danko's a helluva live performer, anyway, your loss : ok:

Didn't say I was completely turned off, just said I wasn't impressed. But honestly, if others like yourself really say to give him a chance live, I will.

Confirmation from Bach website:
http://www.sebastianbach.com/updates.html

Of course, none of this would be possible without the vision & generosity of one single man: Mr. Axl Rose. A man I am so unbeleivably proud, & fortunate, to call my friend. A man whose unwavering voice, lyrics, & vision have been the soundtrack to our lives for more than 20 years now. I cannot WAIT to stand at the side of the stage every night, waiting for my favorite song 'Street Of Dreams ' to come around in the set. I cannot wait for the camaraderie, fun, & sense of purpose the Road brings. I cannot wait to scream my fucking guts out into a microphone in the biggest cities, on the biggest stages, that my hometown country has to offer. I can't wait to see all my friends & family at the shows in Canada. One thing's for sure: I don't have to wait long!! CYA SOON CANADA !! IT'S TIME TO ROCK!! AGAIN!! I love it.

Dont care about Loaded. I had a chance to watch them there for free, but I rather catch the Faith No More gig. :)

Danko Jones to Open for Guns N? Roses on Canadian Tour

Danko Jones, led by Canada?s own brow-furrowing, lip-pouting, pelvis-thrusting guitar hero, are rocking across Canada, but this time with none other than Axl Rose and company. Yes, come 2010, Danko Jones will pair up with Gun N? Roses for the band?s recently announced Canadian tour.

Also out lending some opening support will be Sebastian Bach of Skid Row.

In May, Danko Jones released a compilation of some of the trio?s best moments called This is Danko Jones, which you can expect the guys to pull heavily from for this set of shows.

In other Danko news, the band will play at the Toronto Maple Leafs game in Tampa Bay on November 25 and tour up the West coast of the U.S. prior to playing the Canadian dates with GN?R (you can see the U.S. dates here). Seriously, it?s getting pretty hard to doubt Danko Jones?s patriotism.

Ticketmaster have labeled the opening acts as this:

Opener: Danko Jones
Direct support: Sebastian Bach

Does anyone know the difference? Is it just the order they're playing in, meaning Baz will come on after Danko?

I would love it if Baz goes on last before GNR and I hope he plays much closer to GNRs start time.
