not a huge fan of this idea.. but after seeing the youtube of him performing with VR.. i think if the verses are rapped and fergie sings the refrain.. it could be a success..

Slash fans in Japan seem to be put off by the collaboration with Inaba.
and those on English boards are more keen on the b side old cover than the new song.

Still, that's OK B'z fanbase is huge they won't download but buy the Inaba song featuring Slash.

Hey, I'm interested ! I love both Slash and Inaba (one of the very few singers I know who have the capability of sounding exactly the same live and on record). And I hope the song is in Japanese.

To your relief it is. Reportedly, Koshi Inaba wrote the melody and words to Slash's material. The single version is different from the album one.

There're English lines tho. "Sorry can't remember anything about you" etc

sounds like about a man with bad memory regretting the follies of his glory days.


I read that Bz are big fans of GN'R. At a radio show in Jan regarding Chinese Democracy they said to the effect that Axl is and was the heart and soul of GN'R and twat is Inaba's favorite song.

There's this one B'z concert from the 90s where they're obviously parodying GN'R. They even have a kid up on stage "impersonating" Slash. I always wondered if they were making fun in a bad way or if it was another case of "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery". Well, now I guess I have my answer  ;D

Your welcome and I doubt the singer would feel comfortable singing in English among native English speaking singers on the album.

They appear to have been influenced by many famed rock acts. :P

Haha, no that's not the show I'm talking about (this one is from last year, and I was there !).  It's a show from the 90s, I'll have to check which one. And it's at the very beginning, if I remember right. They have a kid with the Slash hairdo and the top hat.

I hope this album is cool...Slash has trouble putting together an album that is good from start to finish.
