Title: Music Memorabilia - GN'R mention
Post by: rabia on August 24, 2009, 10:51:34 PM
Michael Jackson, Woodstock Spark Surge In Memorabilia

Beyond sweat, inspiration sells too. When legendary rocker Axl Rose told the world that his epic Guns N' Roses music video "November Rain" was inspired by a short story he read by a little-known writer named Del James in 1995, sales of the book,"The Language of Fear," took off. When the book went out of print two years later, it became a rock collector's must-have, with copies of the $5.50 book fetching between $150 and $400 on eBay for years. Last year, the publisher decided to re-release the book with a new cover, but the first edition still remains a highly-sought-after collector's item.

they got it right about Axl being a legend but other than that, theyve got a lot of research to do on November Rain.

Good news to hear, I am lucky enough to own an original copy, I would never part with it though.  Anyone else have the original?

I have an autographed copy and a regular copy. and I had to go out and get a new cover copy too. I would love to get that autographed. I wouldn't part with the autographed one for less then a $1000. I know its not worth that but its how far you would have to go to get me to give it up. lol
