So true its weird though most geniuses have little issues like that which to me makes them that more intersting to see what they will do next.

great series, i think its cool how Light starts to do things with a good intention but the power starts transforming him, but its a wierd position cause he in a way is searching for some good, and you know he is not the best but you dont want him to get caught.

True I agree its a tough decision to make but in the end if he won and all is said and done he would be the last bad person left.

isn't light basically a spoiled board kid with heavy superior complex? he has everything.  a good and loving family, the excellence in studying and sports  and with girls.

True but he is discusted with all the big evils in the world that just seem to grow everyday and with the DN he would make a big difference in the world.

So; what the fuck is Death Note about?

Basicly about a son of a police cheif (Light Yagame) gets a notebook where if you write the name of a person down and have seen their face they will die he uses the notebook to kill criminals in the 2ed episode the police get help from the greatest detective in the world known only as L they get in a large battle of wits but thats all im going to tell you you have to watch the rest its an epic series!!! ;)

Its a vary smart show...

Near and Mellow remind me of an Axl-Slash relationship ;)

I would have liked to c them do something with Fall To Pieces it would have been good when L and Waticke died..

i love this show so far. i thought the outline sounded kind of lame but ive been pleasantly surprised.

im still on the first season but so far so good...

2 seasons of death yes but they do have movies the new one is there 3ed its called L change the world its about a case L took on his 25 last days alive the main story im still trying to find out I just watched the last ep it honestly puts things in perspective in the end Lights father was right "any person with the power to kill is cursed"

damn. i kept hoping that L was gunna pop up agian somehow....

o well Light is a dick and got what was coming haha. good ending :peace:

i saw the trailer. seen dvds  of the 2 live action movies. well in those the story is altered and the light isn't really light.  >:(
i didn't like misa in the movie either. the l was good so were other casts. especially miss misora is better than that in the anime.

would be great if Hollywood makes it into the movie with shacklers for the theme song. if only we had a young johnny depp for L and a young brad pitt as light. the place might well be la or nyc. for near (nate river) is English, mello is Russian, L is a quarter Japanese, a quarter English, a quarter Russian and... a quarter French or Italian or something. 8)

originally, L lawliet was born on the 31st of October 1979 and died on November 5th 2004  :'(

L looked great for his age eventhough he eats all those sweets the amount of brain power he uses must be like 10  3/4 becouse normal people use 10 present of their brains but I don't have the exact figures so if you do please tell me

Started I think in 2006 in the US and ended in 2007 I think they should make a fallow up to this series when a different shenigimi drops a note book in the human world again but instead of a student seeking justice a orphan teenager who also hates evil but gets a group of people to help him do his killings (4 or 5 people) so there would be a huge amount of deaths and Near investagates in knowing that it has to be the notebook but that's just one of my ideas I'm still working on some other ones about this great series

Fatty Note that was funny with a god of fat crazy but no the Movie L Change the world I think looks intersting at least we know L had other things to do during the Kira case and when their I saw a news thing about a student writing down names in a Death Note he kind of remined me of X-Kira being he keeps things to himself and he sounded vary unstable he's in a millitary school Death Note has a huge fan base but I'm sure crazy people would love to have a real Death Note

Just watched 2 eps of Monster looks good but not as good as Death Note I think they should write a fallow up to the Death Note series that someone finds a Death Note about 5 years after Lights death and the person figures out how kira did his killings by reading the rules (asuming that the information about the death note wasn't made public) but in some country no one would expect where crimes were committed like every hour it would be intersting if it was like in South Africa though not that it's unstable but the events in Africa just are gruesome

But I don't think that will happen...

Monster its a master piece in my opinion, but its longer than death note, and its much more slow in its progresion. i think its about 74 chapters.

I watch up to the part when he has to save a terroist this looks  a vary great show ;) could have used better opening song and ending one to

really, like deathnote, there's no episode that is a filler. Very Addictive series but a few times i was like geez i can't stand watching this further cos some of the scenes ie child abuse and tortures, i won't say anymore spoiler... were too scary.

for me with death note I loved each and every second of it I do hope they make the movie dvds avalable to the US in either english or in subtitles

I actually just started writing a song that I got the inspiration while thinking about Death Note its well about Changing the World so its probably been done before but I think mine will sound great when I find the right people to play for me (I am a singer)  8)

well one of my online friends told me a story about a fam of 7 two of the children died in a car crash, the older one left still alive, the mom started using a lot of of drugs the father started drinking, the father was beating the 2 children left as well as my friend if she interfered, my friends best friend killed herself after telling her (my internet friend) how she was always their for her and stuff then she killed herself, the older sister returned after hearing what happened, now the father beat the youngest a 7 year old to the hospital many times as well as the others that were left today the 7 year old is in critical condition last i heard 2 hours ago and i told her to tell the cops but in my heart i wished i had a Death Note to end that cruel mans life beating your own children to the hospital i wanted him to die as a first reaction perhaps thats why i think Light has some good in him I dont know if it were me in Lights position would I have kept going ??? I cant say I will let you all know what happened though as soon as i humanly can

I think Ryuk's theme song should be Bad Apples because he knows one bad apple (Light) is worth a whole dam bunch  :rofl: but the song dose suit him vary well I think

good one. the Jpn one had dani California for the term, which is...well i don't know what to say. earlier i said shacklers but now i think the song would be a better fit for another story.

who do you think should be cast as Light? and L? i always see l and light as polar opposites ie light is fair, neat and tidy everygirl's type, and L is dark, shabby, eccentric and yet overly polite... that i think a melting pot like us is more suited place for the story than japan. I just hope they won't shift light?s age much. He gotta be a promising teenager like j dog when he found the note. If he was older and mature he wouldn't have made those mistakes.

I think it would be great with depp I think if he watched the show he would concider it he dose great with roles of people with weird habbits but it would be refreshing to learn if the role of Light would be a teenager I think around 16-17 as long as it's fresh talent nothing fucking stupid like one of the Jonis brothers a person like that would kill the Death Note movie before it begins
