Title: Richard Fortus Update - impostor on Facebook Post by: jarmo on June 08, 2009, 09:21:45 PM Currently, Rich's Facebook account has been suspended (which is why he may have disappeared from some of your friends lists), while a fake new account is being operated by an impostor.
The impostor account is in the Longview / Tyler, TX Network. They have been responding to messages pretending to be Richard. The matter is being dealt with by facebook and the authorities, but the real Richard Fortus just wanted to let everyone know that he didn't just disappear from their friends list and he hopes to see you back on facebook soon. When will people learn? While this is sad, I am not surprised...look at the scammers who send out the "this is your bank - we need you to confirm your account numbers and pin" e-mails...and they do it because somewhere, someone is still gullible enough to believe it.
