I couldn't tell if that was scripted or not.  I mean Eminem seemed surprised and upset, walking off with his entourage.  But MTV wouldn't be that stupid to invite the guy to perform, sit him in the audience, and drop that "surprise" on him, would they?

I felt bad for Eminem. If I were him I would seriously consider taking legal action. That behaviour crossed the line and bordered on sexual assault. On the bright side TWILIGHT won a ton of awards!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The NEW MOON trailer totally rocked!

I still think Eminem was IN on the bit.  I mean, he HAD to be.  MTV wouldn't have the balls to go through with something like that without clearing it with him first.

I don't know. He looked pretty pissed when he stormed  off.

Rumor has it that Nick Cannon, which is Mariah Carey's husband, produced the show last night and for those that do not know, Em disses them on his new CD

could've been payback

It was really great. And if TIL is the theme song, GNR will win the award for best song!

More proof that way too many Americans take things WAY too seriously. Lighten up, eh?

In Annie's defense, I would've agreed with her IF the stunt was a surprise to Eminem.  That would've been underhanded by MTV to invite him to perform then spring such an embarassing stunt on him.  BUT, since it was all planned, all is fine.

I didn't realize that it was planned. I don't like that kind of humour. I don't think I'll be seeing Bruno. Also I'm an EMO girl. :hihi:

No, it just shows that Eminem is a good actor. I really thought that he was upset. Bruno is just obnoxious.

I thought it was a pretty good job of acting too.  I had to rewind it to watch it again.  Lots of pepple bought it.  I just knew MTV couldn't be that ballsy to pull off such a stunt on a guy with the star status of Eminem, so I knew it had to be staged.  Plus, if it wasn't.  Eminem's entourage would've put a serious beatdown on Bruno, at least much more than the choreographed slaps they threw at him.

I still think it was half staged, half not

MTV obviously could play it off like it was staged so Em could save face

I read one report where Sascha practiced it to an empty building and now they are saying Em was there and went through with the 69 in rehearsal

I believe Em was in on it, but he maybe agreed to Bruno flying down and sitting in his lap....... and they fucked it around and did that.

No, they wouldn't have beat him down cause that is assault and they could've got sued or put in jail.

I just don't think he is that good of an actor and if u watch it, he legitimately is pissed off.

when he said Are u serious? are u fucking serious

it made me believe that he didn't sign up for THAT.

Yeah D, rappers and their entourage certainly wouldn't do anything to warrant legal action.
Man, even when people admit to something they're not to be believed.  It's a wonder people keep quiet in this day and age.

I haven't heard a word from Eminem about it yet.

Also, that wasn't an "entourage" it was members of his band D-12

Ok, I stand corrected and am gullible:

Three days ago at the MTV Movie Awards, Sacha Baron Cohen caused a firestorm as "Bruno" when he landed ass first on Eminem. Many speculated for the days whether the stunt was staged or real, with everyone speaking except the man himself. Breaking his silence, Em spoke exclusively to Rap Radar about the entire "ordeal".

RR: Can you clear up the Bruno stunt at the MTV Awards? Was it staged or planned?
Eminem: Sacha called me when we were in Europe and he had an idea to do something outrageous at the Movie Awards.  I'm a big fan of his work so I agreed to get involved with the gag.

If it wasn't planned the way you agreed to, do you hold MTV or Sacha responsible and will you take any kind of action?
Eminem:I'm thrilled that we pulled this off better than we rehearsed it.  It had so many people going "nuts" so to speak. Everyone was blowing me up about it.

After you left the ceremony, where did you go?
EMAfter the ceremony I went back to my hotel and laughed uncontrollably for about 3 hours. Especially after I saw it on air.

There is a rumor that you hotel room was robbed and theives got 60K and your laptop while you were at ceremony. Is that true and if so what would someone find on your computer?
The only thing was that I lost a Nike watch that we were looking for. The rest it is made-up like half the other stuff out there.

How do you think the show with Jay went and how did it feel performing "Renegade" again?
I love performing with Jay. Its the third time we've done the song together live and its always fun. It was an honor to share the stage with him again and to work with his band.

I too am stupid and naive. Just like Susan Boyle was not the sweet shy woman that I thought she was.  I think Eminem should guest host SNL next year or at least do a digital short with Andy Samberg! Some journalists feel that EM has lost his street cred.

I think Eminem deserves credit for his superior acting.  He had me think twice when I saw it, and many others not knowing what to believe till now.  I never saw the movie, but didn't he act in "8 Mile"?  Maybe the man's more talented in that realm than we give him credit for.

8 MILE actually made me appreciate RAP as an art form, even though I don't really care for it. BUt I don't like Blues or Jazz and I'm from Chicago. :hihi:

dono about that. prolly he actually hates having other man's bottom on his face so that his expression came natural...and that's why it was funny.

His performance in 8 Mile was awesome, but I think it was a lot easier for him considering he was playing "himself" in the movie.
