Seattle native Duff McKagan (DUFF MCKAGAN'S LOADED, VELVET REVOLVER, GUNS N' ROSES) will make his radio host debut next week with "Radio Loaded", a one-hour show on 99.9 KISW "The Rock of Seattle" and at KISW.com. The show will air Tuesday, May 12 at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time. Immediately following the broadcast, the show and bonus material will be available for streaming and download at KISW.com.

"I've always had a lot of fun as a guest on the air at KISW," says McKagan. "We figured it was about time they completely turned the reins over to me for an hour."

This airs today at 10 am Pacific...

More Radio Loaded

Okay, so I have all of my guests for tomorrow's show all set. Lemmy, Nikki Sixx, Sean Kinney, and Mike McCready and Loaded will play 'Wild Horses' acoustically. jeff Rouse will be my studio 'pal' through the whole show so that I have someone to talk to when not interviewing. There may be some jokes in there too!

Duff McKagan's "Radio Loaded"

If you missed the debut of the Duff McKagan?s ?Radio Loaded? you can still hear it below!

Duff talks with Nikki Sixx from Motley Crue, Lemmy from Motorhead, and Sean Kinney from Alice in Chains.

Also, there?s bonus material that didn?t air, check it out.

Mike McCready and Duff McKagain performed The Rolling Stones song ?Wild Horses?, watch the video:

?I?ve done thousands of radio interviews over the past twenty plus years. In that time, you kinda learn what works and what doesn?t.  Or at least what YOU think works.  And you also get a sense for what YOU would do if you had your own show.  Yeah, I?ve been there when the fat guy farts into the Mic.  I?ve seen the hot secretary contests, the cute and funny sidekick, the agro sports guy, the virgin interns, the man on the street segments and everything else you can imagine.  I?ve even been to a couple of those ubiquitous ?remote broadcasts.?  So one morning, hanging around the studio after the BJ Shea show, my pals at KISW asked me if I wanted to give it a go with my own show and I said F$&k yeah!?  And what I hope to present to you, is me? having fun with some of my friends, talking about the s$%t we talk about? like sports, the news, the weather and most importantly, the music.  Because it?s the music that brings us all together.  I hope you?ll join me."

I listened to the Nikki Sixx and the Sean Kinney parts and both were really good.   I never knew how funny Sean Kinney was .  Duff is also a pretty cool radio host.
