Good God is she dumb. Title: Re: opposite marriage? Post by: norway on May 06, 2009, 04:41:19 PM That she mistalked doesn't mean she's dumb. :P Thats a pretty straight-on answer and I agree, respect the old ceremonies. Meh, nordic women gets so exploited. Title: Re: opposite marriage? Post by: GeraldFord on May 06, 2009, 04:51:08 PM Watch the clip again, safe to say she is pretty dumb. : ok:

Title: Re: opposite marriage? Post by: ppbebe on May 07, 2009, 12:08:22 PM what's her country? ???
I donno if she's dumb but her answer is very strange. No sooner were the positive words out her mouth she contradicted herself. Title: Re: opposite marriage? The only thing I found amusing about that link was "Perez Hiltons" reaction. Title: Re: opposite marriage? Post by: Albert S Miller on May 07, 2009, 01:19:00 PM He obviously didn't like her answer, as it did not support the choices he has made. Do I stand correct?
Title: Re: opposite marriage? Post by: Sin Cut on May 08, 2009, 04:06:46 AM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2LPv9L6sy5c Good God is she dumb. at least she doesn't say what the media wants to hear. I'd sleep with her. Title: Re: opposite marriage? Post by: Dr. Blutarsky on May 18, 2009, 11:29:06 PM Have you ever known any beauty pageant contestant to be a genius? With that said, she has a right to her opinion even if it is not the politically correct answer people were expecting or a grammatically correct answer.
Title: Re: opposite marriage? Post by: norway on May 19, 2009, 02:07:00 AM Gay people are consenting adults and they shouldn't have to abnegate their rights. No doubt they are consenting adults and humans too, but rights got little to do with desecrating religion imo. It's selfish as I see it. What needs to be done is making partnership laws that ensures same institutional benefits/footing- -and if so important, a spriritual ceremony for same sex. Be it a christian, muslim, european (pagan), bhudist, whatever marriage initiation. We got to stop confusing participating in christian rites with rights. Thats giving religion too much cred and influence. Title: Re: opposite marriage? Post by: Vicious Wishes on May 19, 2009, 05:25:00 PM Having Perez Hilton involved(in any way) in a beauty contest is like having a cat determine the winner of the Westminster dog show.
Title: Re: opposite marriage? Post by: Axl4Prez2004 on May 19, 2009, 05:43:25 PM Some people are so stupid. It isn't the fact the contestant doesn't believe in gay marriage, it's the fact she can't speak clearly. Period.

Thats giving religion too much cred and influence. The rite comes with added benefits, in this country. If it didn't I suppose it wouldn't be a problem. If marriage wasn't recognized as a civil institution, in addition to a religious one, then it wouldn't matter. But since it carries with it certain benefits, it creates a problem of treating people equally under the law. Title: Re: opposite marriage? So all of this hatred and intolerance that was coming from the liberals and left wingers was about her not being able to speak clearly? If that is indeed the fact as you say, these people are more of a disgrace than before. Title: Re: opposite marriage? Post by: Axl4Prez2004 on May 19, 2009, 08:15:13 PM Some people are so stupid. Those that felt she should have been stripped of her crown for voicing her opinion are dumb, left right or center. Those that felt she poorly presented her thoughts are correct. There is hatred and intolerance on both sides of the aisle...can we agree on that??? Title: Re: opposite marriage? Post by: Drew on May 19, 2009, 08:18:31 PM There is hatred and intolerance on both sides of the aisle...can we agree on that??? I agree 100% with you Axl4Prez2004. Title: Re: opposite marriage? Yay! :peace: As long as people are respectful when they voice their opposition to gay marriage, that's fine. This chick seemed respectful...just dumb as a box of rocks. :hihi: I'm still trying to figure out how letting gay people get married affects me as a straight person...or any straight person for that matter. Title: Re: opposite marriage? Post by: Dr. Blutarsky on May 19, 2009, 10:44:18 PM Here's an idea - keep government out of same sex and opposite sex marriages! If 2 people no matter the circumstances want to enter into a contract, let them.
Title: Re: opposite marriage? Post by: Axl4Prez2004 on May 20, 2009, 04:26:29 PM The world is coming to an end soon! I am agreeing with both Drew and Blutarsky in the same thread! :hihi:
I'm with ya there Senator. :peace: |
