Just saw it today. It has the new logo on the upper right chest, a grenade on the left that says "HOW ARE YOU?", and the pin says "GOOD MORNING AMERICA."

I don't get it, but it's an interesting shirt nonetheless.

Don't like the 'arrangement'...a more traditional left chest logo, grenade on back, would have been more visually appealing IMO.  I like the artwork, but positioning on the shirt is very 'different' - and message is lost to me...Maybe Axl is going to 'pull the pin' on the 'new' Chinese Democracy tour by going on 'Good Morning America' - and the album/tour will then explode???  Not bitchin' by any means, glad to see new merch...just not my style this time.

Plan on buying this shirt next week.

I went to Hot Topic yesterday and they dont have it, wonder is they just released it in other cities, but not here in SouthFlorida.

It's definately here in Wa and has been for a few weeks, store already sold out here, have on order, but will look forward to getting the real when tour is in place, to me those are the ones that count.

I bought the grenade shirt today at HT. It looks a lot better in person actually. I thought the logo next to the grenade looked weird online but it looks cool.

i didn't like it a whole lot, but still, it's new meterial, so it's refreshing.

My wife surprised me with this grenade t-shirt...she saw me looking at it online, and figured I would like it...I have to agree with previous poster - I thought it looked like crap online, due to the layout, but it works better in person...not the best t-shirt, but it is GnR - so I'll wear it.  : ok:

I went to the mall on monday to get this shirt,  they didn't have it.  Then when leaving the mall, I was in a hit and run accident and had to chase some guy in the parking lot.  I should've bought it online!!  My car won't be fixed till next week, and my insurance company has me in a crap rental car till then. :rant:

I've thought about that T-Shirt a lot and I need an explaination for it.  After 9/11 and the violence in our schools not to mention the wars, I don't understand this.  I thought, hoped, we were all looking for more non violence.  Axl, what are you trying to say?

I don't think it's suggesting more violence.

to me it seems to be about the violence that we see when we watch the news every morning that the US is part of both here and throughout the world.

Right, I buy and collect almost everything GN'R releases but I'll skip this one. The 2006 shirts looked much better.

I was at Hot Topic today and in the sale section, I found a kid's GNR tshirt ,that said, " I listen to GNR with my Daddy. Since I don't have any kids, I bought one and put it on one of my large garden statues. It looks so cute!

my son wears that shirt & his name is axl. yes i did name him axl. if i ever have a girl i will name her rose.  btw hot taco, i mean hot topic has a new girly tank with a skull on it & it says gnr  on the forehead i believe. its pretty lame.

i think the grenade itself represents the album. the message on it is intended for American music audience. Axl may be wanting to use this piece as a way to explode onto the scene again. we know he likes to make a memorable entrance ("WTTJ" as a show opener is a great example).

i think it also has the same general message as "Guns N Roses" which is a name combined of something very masculine, dangerous, and heavy along with something gentle and soft. the same contrast is seen in the written message (warm welcome) and grenade. the art itself reminds me of modern chinese art but  cant pinpoint why. something about the colors and brush strokes.   

I've seen mp3 players looking pretty similar to the ggrenade.

For t shirts, I keep my eye on nearby uniqlo.  8)
