TWAT is amazing, and is a worthy opponent and definitely the second best song on the album bar none, but I think that Better sums up the new band's sound the best, and features the best vocals, guitar, and all around best beat. Again, it's still a great song, but i fucking love "TWAT". Both songs have a LOT of great stuff going on, you can hear something new on every listen (really, that goes for most of the cd though!) The vocals and guitar on TWAT have been my favorite since first listen and it has remained my fave. and most of the non-gnr fans i've played the cd for love that song. Whenever i'm in a bar now i play TWAT on the jukebox and it always gets a great response. The lyrics to "Better" at that time were very helpful, but after I got passed all the BS that was going on at that time in my life the song "There Was A Time" was still being played a lot....On any stereo to anywhere and everywhere that I'd go. So in the end I think that like some one else here said "T.W.A.T" stands the test of time as a "Classic - Guns N' Roses" song. So after a short story turned long ;) My vote goes against the song "Better". "There Was A Time" is just so epic and with so much more musical substance that it just has a better (no pun intended) advantage over the song "Better".
