The group - who re-formed in 2006 - came top in a survey of 3,000 teens. A spokesman for www.youngpoll.com, which carried out the survey, said: "They have come back after more than a decade away to enjoy even more success." Girls Aloud, Aerosmith, Busted and Guns N' Roses were next coolest. I first got into Gn'R sometime around '02 or '03. Someone played me Madagascar, and I was so blown away by it, I had to find out who did it. After that, primarily via HTGTH, I learned all about Gn'R and my entire existance as a fan is based around HTGTH. From ticket pre-sales, to chats with Axl, it's been great. So yeah, I'd say, from my perspective, despite ending my tenure as a teenager in '99, this site (along with the rest) has been a huge factor in my knowledge and enjoyment of Gn'R. It's one of the only bands that transcends generations. Doesn't matter if you're 40 or 15... a frat boy or a lawyer... GNR has that magic that touches everybody. Not many bands can do that...

He left and became more famous on his own. :P They are/were pretty successful, over here at least. They made a big comeback a few years ago.
