Title: Christmas Shopping Post by: western_chaos on December 18, 2008, 11:23:57 PM So, I still have only bought one christmas present so far, and still have to do my shopping and am taking it pretty light this year cause I need to be wise with my budget due to decling work hours from 40 to 32 hours per week.
So anyways, htgth members, are you going all out for christmas this year or being more on the conservative side like me? I only spent like $65 last year and this year it might be under $50 lol. One of my daughters sews and so she made pajamas for all of us family members. My other daughter loves to cook, and so she made homemade salsa and canned it, she is putting together a gift basket including a jar or two of her secret salsa, bag of organic tortillia chips, along with some of her sweets she also made oh yes and each in a decorative holiday bowl lol. Anyway those are a couple things we are doing, and the answer is yes, we were a little more conscience about our overall holiday spending, I think most everyone is.
