I actualy just ordered the 7 inch single, cd and mp3 package for this song.
I've got pretty much everything the darkness put out on vinyl. I think I am missing one or two 7 inch singles...maybe three, but that'd be it I think.

15 minutes lol? They had a very successful first album. And a moderately successful follow up. Aswell as successful tours around the world.

Justin Hawkins (and Darby Todd, Hot Leg drummer) did a lecture at my college a month ago, which was very cool (especially since I'm a huge Darkness/Hot Leg fan). Got to talk with him for abit and even got to have an inpromptu jam session with him which was awesome! His advice (when asked by a singer how to keep their voice intact) was "don't take Cocaine...or anything else ending with 'aine to be honest"  :hihi:

Hot Leg are a good band, they recently announced a full UK tour which I will definatly be going to cause they always put on a great show.

oh yeah? not here in America they didn't...They had that one song "thing called love" or whatever it was called and that was it....they were almost popular for about 3 months here...  Werent they a parody band?  Like a band poking fun at the 80's?  At least thats what it seemed like here in the states...they were pretty funny I remember that...

not exactly dude. Growing on me and Love is only a feeling did pretty good as well and tickets to their only US tour sold out in seconds at every venue and were nearly impossible to get. ooh and I didn't realize having fun while playing music is considered a parody now. They were a breath of fresh air in a time dominated by a bunch of bands who take themselves far too seriously.

Yeah too many emos wanting us to stand on the stage moping around. Aswell as indie twats want every band to dress fucking boring.

The real reason he wears that is to cover up his receeding hair line i reckon. Try find a recent video of him without something on his forehead. Youll see.

I think it's more not wanting to look like fucking twats.

Your definitions are evidently very skewed.

At first The Darkness made me laugh, I thought they were silly.  But then they got a little big for their britches and now I can't be arsed with them.

Yeah! I just love this guy,was not fun to hear that the Darkness 'broke up'.
Haven't heard Stone Gods album yest, but I will listen to it soon, and Hot Legs when that gets released. Hot legs look a little more 80's though, kinda reminds me of David era Van Halen..

hot leg is basically the darkness v2.0, it really shows how much Justin dictated the sound of the band instrumentally as well as vocally(obviously)
Stone Gods are a little more serious, still cool though. "You brought a knife to a gun fight" is a great song.

yeah, i was surprised that he actually looks less bald here than he did 5 years ago with the Darkness. but I think he's done a lot of research as to what can cover up his hairline best without making it obvious.

on the song, don't like it. but I was surprised that the Darkness broke up, since it pretty much revolved around him and his brother anyway, no? I guess they're having a bitch fight.

or it's just a planned move. since their popularity was slipping more and more, now they can make a comeback in a few years and get back many of the fans of their most successfull period.

justin left because he couldn't kick his cocaine addiction while being in the darkness, so he got sober and everyone else had moved on already so he started a new band when he was ready.

I never much cared for the Darkness so a Justin hawkins return isn't so great for me so whatever.

Good for whoever likes him.
