Title: Song Credits
Post by: 2cool4school on December 08, 2008, 03:06:20 PM
When reading the booklet I was surprised not to see more songs just with Axl as the ONLY song credit.  I think there is only one with himself as the sole guy..  If you look at both the UYI disks he is all over them alone.   I think this would be because he is very generous in handing out writting credits mabey.....  I know he wrote all the lyrics for every song on CD.

Also, I wasnt expectting to see Paul T.'s name as much as I did.  Big surprise.

Finally, I wasnt expectting to see Bucketheads name in any song credits.  I thought he would be still left in for some solos, but he was given some song writting credits as well.  This is great and I wounder what was left behind once he left the band..

This is an argument to all who say that Chinese Democracy is an Axl's solo album.

Rose solely appears in "This i Love"

And the others things shows that this isn't a solo Axl album, is a Guns N' Roses' album.

This is totally a gnr album and not a solo...   But at the same time Axl has had other albums with much more content just under his name with GNR.

I wonder if any of the players on this album had it in there contract that they HAD to be given some min song writting credit on this disk..
