Last.fm is basically a website that tracks members listening habits worldwide and creates charts based on the data and suggests new music.

Thought people might be interested to read what the reaction Last.fm has had to Chinese Democracy. The numbers in these charts are based on individual listeners for the week of Sunday 23rd Nov to Sunday 30th Nov. It seems like people don't listen the album from the beginning to the end.

Better, Shackler's, and Chinese Democracy are available without buying (or downloading) the album. Of course they'll be higher.

I think this is probably the case with any album, though. Songs like "Prostitute" and "Sorry" will get less plays because of their track number until people have gotten used to the album and start adding their favorite songs to playlists.

so far every time I listen to CD< since it was released I listen from start to finish 3 times a day, sometimes more, and Im on last FM, and my gnr total plays is..  Guns N' Roses (8,005 plays)
