If there's something I've been missing for the last 8 years, it's that

I just want a 'New' T-shirt (couldn't make the listening events in NYC or Boston)...thats why I keep scanning these sites daily.  Everything else would be a bonus...especially the DVD's, new poster, and some new pint glasses.

You would think 'coming soon' would hopefully be before Friday - biggest day of retail sales in US...or everyone will be buying GnR rip-off merch at 'hot topic', etc.  Hopefully they get their shit together quickly, so I can do my Christmas shopping!  Did they have a 'band shop' at '07 dates?  What did they sell besides stuff on old 'Bam' store?

I found some of the old CD longsleeve t's with dragon down arms online...would love to see that with updated logo.  Also Album cover shirt, ala Lies.

my local Hot Topic has a "new gnr" t shirt.  Just the new logo with stars. So they beat the online shop to the punch.

i would love to find some creative new merch.  not just shirts and keychains and hats.  maybe a set of pool ques or skateboards or collage style picture frames.

It was the Hot Topic in Burbank, CA. 

Each of the last seven years I've been telling my wife, don't worry about my Christmas gifts, there'll be a ton of GNR stuff..... :crying:  I'm not going to complain too much though...3 awesome shows since '02, 3 GNR concert t's, 2 non-concert GNR t-shirts, CD disc and framed CD album...

My wishlist?  A Chinese Democracy flag would have been sweet.  (especially before the release), but I'll still take it.
Obviously a t-shirt, and yeah, some officially released dvds would be very cool.

I just want the basic shit. Shirts, hats, jumpers ect. But I'd also love a Live download section. And also, they should be selling all preivious albums and all dvd and maybe the making of videos on dvd.

I would expect it to be the same sort of stuff they sell every time they have a new online store. I would doubt there'll be anything involving music or videos would be involved--other than maybe a link to Best Buy. It just doesn't seem like the kind of thing GNR does.

I am actually hoping for ONLY those...have you seen what the 'marketing' sites do to say...an NHL franchise?  Bruins couch & love seat, tiffany lamps, picture frames, dart boards...can you see GnR getting that treatment?  I thought the baby clothes were a little over the top.  Ok, maybe I would buy a GnR pool table lamp...  :peace:

I broke down and bought the Hot Topic shirt...$15 won't break the bank I guess...give me something new to wear until official site gets up to speed.  I can't wait to see the new covers, and the related shirts Axl mentioned:  (Dexter) "What I look forward to is incorporating the new artwork into our merch and getting some for myself. I think u'll like a lot of it. My vote's for the How Are You grenade and the Sorry automatic rifle artwork on shirts etc."

The site has been slightly updated. The new logo is there but not as the banner. Not new merch yet or anything like that si this wasnt really woth posting Im starting to think.

Wonder why it is more pricey than the average band Tee shirt?  Guess they figure GNR fans are mostly in ther 30's and have more disposable income than say kids in their late teens/20 somethings who are Lady GaGa fans?  :hihi:

I believe Swag is the brand.

I've seen other band shirts (The Clash, Led Zeppelin, Motorhead...) by that brand and they seem more expensive than "regular band t-shirts"....

SWAG is one of the newer designer brands.

Is swag a more durable heavier material t shirt? If so, I could understand the higher price- nothing like getting a t shirt, then after 1 - 2 washes it is faded, much smaller and kinda see thru!

It probably feels softer against your skin, thus the high price.

I have that shirt and it is of a higher quality than most band t-shirts.
