I pre-ordered it off of Itunes and got the single "Chinese Democracy" a few weeks ago...is there a special way Im supposed to go about buying this ?

I dont even fucking see it on my Itunes...................... WTF?

I don't know about you guys but for me it's on the front page of the store. Says GNR NEW ALBUM on the top.

I just bought a copy off Itunes. I find the sound quality on your Ipod is better on DLs than Cd's that are ripped onto it.

Plus I preordered w delivery from Best Buy hoping it would come early, which did not happen, so my physical CD will be here next week.

I got my email right at midnight to dl from itunes.

Printed out the booklet big, and listening.
ANd later Ill go buy the cd at best buy!

I agree, the DL sounds much better than a rip. That is exactly why I purchased it that way. But tomorrow I'll be at Best Buy picking up 4 copies.  8)

Same here I pre-ordered it, but it wouldn't download it until I pressed buy album...So now I was charged for two digital downloads of Chinese from Itunes.  No worries :beer: And I get the CD and Vinyl in the mail on Monday.

It seems the audio quality is very nice

BE WARNED iTunes usually cap that shit at 192 or something which is fucking bullshit. The quality is no where near what you will be getting the CD and it makes a HUGE FUCKING DIFFERENCE! Especially is you got a good system or some good headphones.

Ok first it is AAC not mp3 which means it is better then a mp3 quality

bit rate is only 128 kbps (the CD version will have a much better quality and far more dynamic range)

Sample rate: 44.1 kHz

Yea damn. I think it needs to be like 256 before it is close to CD quality. Over 300 and you are good as a gold.

I did the preorder on Saturday, went to bed at 10:30 last night and woke up at 2:30 and downloaded w/o a problem.  :smoking:

I was just on itunes reading the user reviews.  There's a lot of people on there saying typical smack about the band and not giving the music a fair shake.  Well...the cool thing about itunes...is other users can vote on the user reviews.

so I'm asking everyone...go onto itunes...vote yes for the user reviews that are legit...and vote no for all the reviews that are just dumb kids trying to bash a band for no good reason.  itunes puts the most helpful user reviews at the top and right now...there's some pretty lame ones there.

My downloaded copy doesn't sound nearly as good as the leak I downloaded a week ago. Damn Itunes. I haven't bought a actual CD in years but I will buy one today  ;D

It is number 7 in the U.S. right now.

That's great, but that list changes frequently and with the release of Kanye's new album, it will likely change.  That's o.k., though.

There are a lot of the "Alexl Roses suckz wher iz Slush?" idiots giving it one star, counteract these clowns by posting a positive one

I bet those idiots are just being assholes and haven't even bought the album.
