dude they pull that shit with movies too man remember all those old dvds from late 90s such as vandmamme movies, even big movies like death becomes her, and chuck norris movies? hell even first dvd release of risky buisness, we got all the shitty full screen releases ONLY, while europe got the fuckin widescreen releases! remember that shit? it's bullshit cuz all those movies are american made. No wonder people illegally download movies, to get the versioins that they wanted that they couldn't buy here in the states! i don't blame them one bit!

Hmm, what a shame you miss out on hearing the songs in crappy phone quality and have to settle for having them in CD quality in a couple of days.

I'm not going to any parties (an acquaintance is dying and we're doing a fundraiser for him on Friday, so that takes precedence over this or anything else right now). Just going to listen to CD in my studio on studio reference quality speakers. Should be fun.

Some, like Sweden, get virtually no promotion at all.

Ok well so far it is not great.  I have paid $1.00 and it is not downloading the song it is they play the song for you on your cell phone.  Think of radio but sounds worse (due to the cell I have).  However I am still hoping for a some other cool contests to come over the next 2weeks they say.  That and our local radio station will be giving away about 36 copies of CD starting on Thursday so I hope to get one of those

i emailed them last night asking for a couple tickets but havn't gotten a responce yet?

CD has been getting airplay. i don't have a radio but CD is #1 on top 9at9 on 977hitz fm.

I'd be interested to know where you're getting it on Friday so I can do the same! haha.

Based on the level of complaining, I immediately thought "wait...three extra songs?!?!"  But...of course not.  Phew.

Anyway, I guess I'll have to live without hearing an album over my cell phone.  Whatever will I do?

No promotion in Australia, we also only get 1 version of the album on cd but I'm not complaining as my count down until I can buy it is 1 day 21 hours (also a day early because I know the people at the record store)

I was just about to post about HMV staying open until midnight... I'm assuming "Toronto Superstore" is the one located on Yonge just north of Dundas.  I walked by this afternoon and decided to pop in and ask about Guns... I will probably be there to pick it up Saturday night!

Yup that's the Toronto Superstore. I phoned them and they said they were staying open until at least 1AM and probably until 2AM.
