I'll be in Madrid this weekend I think. My sister is having a baby any day this week so it's very likely that I'll be in town.

This could be fun, but this happens a day before the actual release. Call me corny but I've waiting too long to hear this record for the first time. I've visualized that moment so many times that I want to live this moment on my own. I mean, how many times have I thought about going to the store and see piles of Chinese Democracy in shelves, how many times have I've thought about holding the cd? how many times have I thought about opening the booklet for the first time? how many times have I thought about inserting the CD on my CD player and watch it load? How many times have I wondered how many running minutes the CD will have? And...last but not least, how many times have I've visioned myself listening to the first notes of the first song?

There are many, many things I want to experience on my own. This is just too big to spoil it with a listening party a day before.

If the party was on the 23rd, I'd definitely attend though.

On a side note. I have BEGGED my sister to either wait until the 23rd onwards to have the baby. The 21st is also ok...but not the 22nd!!
