Just wondering if anyone has a good brand of headphones to enjoy chinese democracy!! Probably buy them with the album sunday.

They will sound leaps and bounds better than Bose anything. Or, if you don't mind them being on the uncomfortable side, have a look at Grado 'phones, they're renowned for their bright nature which is perfect for Rock. The Sennheisers are a little bit laid back but the detail is very good.
Bear in mind that standard PC audio is very bad quality unless you have a decent sound card. You would want to look at a USB Dac and Headphone amplifier. Post by: wells on November 18, 2008, 05:43:05 AM I never thought I would go with Shure, but as a treat to myself because of ChiDem coming out I have just bought myself Shure SE530 and oh boy are they amazing (and expensive)... I am really surprised Shure can make such good headphones! All the models sounded great in the comparision with others, from SE 1xx, SE2xx, SE320 (the most optimal ratio of price vs quality) and SE 420 to SE530.
