This is exactly why I am purchasing the CD from Best Buy, even though I have bought digitial & downloaded for nearly 3 years.  It's been that long since I have purchased a physical CD - just so I can take a picture with it.

It will go nicely with a picture of me from 1987 as a 10 yr old with a GNR t-shirt and the CASSETTE TAPE of AFD!  LOL  Good to show to my kids!!   :o

try to get creative too ;)
pictures in stores, in carts, in car, with your mom, under water, in space ...

so we can show the world, on sunday, that WE ALL HAVE CD ! :)

Just found out starting Thursday my local radio station will be giving away a copy of the album every hour.  I hope to have this CD in my hands Nov 20th

Really cool to see everybody so happy finally having CD in their hands after all these years :) It was an amazing experience indeed. I may post mine tomorrow.

Just to illustrate the power of Chinese Democracy; I went to my parents place yesterday, who ususally can't stand rock music and especially not the shrieking voice of Axl Rose, and I insisted to play them This I Love, and guess what? They were both sitting in their cheers staring out in the air while really listening, and they both said after "Wow. That was really good". I think that was one of the happiest moments of my life (nothing close to having CD in my hands at the record store of course), after having had to put up with their closed minds during my whole childhood and part of my adulthood. And to add to it, my girl came home from a weekend trip today and I played her CD in it's entirety, and she dug it! Bear in mind, this is a girl who first said she doesn't understand how anyone can call that music when I first played her GN'R (yeah I know, I should've dumped her right there and then ;D), but when hearing the songs from CD she actually said "Wow, they've really improved! I can actually hear what he's singing now and the songs are really good!" - seriously, I wanted to take her to bed right there and then! :hihi:

Anyway, with a good or a bad hand?First cup it?s always awful! no way you?re gonna like it!. It takes sometime to get used to the it but once you get it,  you simply can?t live without it.
