Olberman is basically McSame, he just cheats differently. At least O'Reilly can be entertaining.

Like I said, it?s okay to have a point of view?so I don?t see anything wrong with Olberman?s format. At least he?s honest with where he is coming from and doesn?t lie about his political beliefs (Bill "I'm in the middle..." O'Reilly : ok: :no: :hihi:) And remember that Bush has been president for the past eight years?so it would make sense that he?d be critical on his policies. I for one don?t think he will always give Obama a pass after he becomes President.

He might be a little arrogant, but he?s gifted, funny, articulate, well read and does actual research?he is, in fact, the very antithesis of  O'Reilly.

Ever since she got her own show, I've really taken a liking to Rachel Maddow. 

As far as Olbermann v OReilly,  lets be real.     These guys are basically doing the same exact thing, just catering to different sides.   O'Reilly is a conservative thinker, Olbermann is a liberal thinker.    The only other real difference is that one doesn't claim to be "fair and balanced".   Don't give me the Billo brings on opposing views..   Olbermann rarely has on a conservative while Billo only brings on left-leaning guests that are either wingnut asskissers or dems who (perhaps purposely) make liberals look like misguided idiots.   Rachel Maddow will bring on the occassional right wingnut and she treats them with absolute courtesy and respect.

As for who I prefer, Olbermann.   Billo is a moron and a biggot.   Olbermann's WPITH and Special Comments make his show worth watching.   His latest one on Prop 8 was one of the best things he's ever done and honestly I wish he would have aired this a few nights BEFORE election night.

He doesn't pretend to be fair?

Tell that to NBC who had him as an anchor during the Republican National Convention, as well as political debates, in a position where he was supposed to be neutral. Not as a pundit or a commentator, but as a journalist. There's a difference.

When asked about his political bias, Olbermann said "I'm not a liberal. I'm an American".

They're both extremists.  If one is slightly less biased it would have to be O' Reilly - and this is coming from someone who is registered independent and voted for Obama.

One from the left the other from the right.  I miss Keith on Sportscenter, but he is a good host on countdown.  O'Reilly is a douche bag, and well half the time his facts are wrong or he spews out whatever he wants.  But Keith also speaks out to, but c'mon Fox News is a joke.  Nbc is a little better, but I refer CNN. 

You're nuts if you call either one a journalist.  They're commentators.  Editorialists.  Not journalists.
