I hope it gets judged on it's merits by the populace at large because this is, IMHO,worthy of "album of the year" consideration. It's that good. I took the train into NYC, stayed for the listening party, and then took the train BACK to New Haven. Then drove an hour home, fell on the bed for a few hours, and got up to come to work. I hear ya on the "dragging".... :) It was a good time. Wish I'd had time to set up some "meet ups" with my fellow forum members, but....it wasn't for sure that I was definitely going to make it til about noon-ish, yesterday. I had an alternate plan to head up to Boston, tomorrow, if need be. Next time there is a concert in the area it will be way easier to plan..wish I knew you were there Pilferk, I would have bought you a drink for all of my nonsense in the political thread over the years... :hihi: next time! Glad everyone dug the album, it was cool to see everyone really into the music and cheering after every song...The dj from K-rock who hosted last night mentioned that today...and Bumblefoot was awesome..really cool of him to make the trip over for that... Yikes.... somehow I completely missed this event haha. I had no idea this happened until just now. Even though I am not the biggest fan of CD I wish I would have been at this event.
