well at the top of the website it says send in your own video and the best one will have the chance to be the first person on the UK to get the album....so im guessing that the video will be a cool fan video.

I think we will get an official gnr video with the 2nd single. Isnt Robin touring with NIN at the moment? How are they going to shoot a vid for CD without him? They prob are just going to wait for him.

obiviously an offical video is much more exciting but I think the concept of the contest is cool too. There will be plenty of gnr videos. I rather them wait for the full band than just put out some video that is based off of live footage.

I also think we would have heard rumblings about the making of the video by now. So that is why Im not anticipating a video for the first single. I think the full fledge promotion will begin next week and maybe the 2nd single will be dropped right after the initial wave of hype and promotion sets in. So probably mid December

If they had to shoot a video, don't you think it might have happened some time ago? I don't think they are leaving these kind of things for the last minute, everything seems to be perfectly planned.

You forget NIN was off a month and cancelled a couple of show's. I would expect Robin in the video.

if this is not a video, then why promote a promotional video - doesnt really make sense. Apart from, it keeps people coming back to the site.

These guys are really on their shit...this site looks sharp, well ordered, and 100 times better than Geffen layout.

the competition is not for fans to post live videos for GNR to use, it's for fans to post video of them selselves playing airguitar to a GNR song. The winner gets a party for themselves and 100 friends and will be the first owner of CD in the UK.

I think it's just a competition - nothing to do with any GNR music video.

i dont know where youre from but i just added something to the basket and tried to check out and it seems they ship alot of places. i tried usa. and yes they take credit cards

Who do you think would deliver it first (in the UK), Amazon, Play or HMV?

I had chosen amazon at first... but they said the delieverly date was 25 to 26 nov (that was first class) If you chose free delieverly the date for that was 5 to 6 December... so in the end i cancelled my order and went to play.com, because i had pre ordered oasis new album from there and it arrived on time. HMV also say they send there products 1 to 2 days before the release date (so it hopefully arrives there on time)

i rekon the first one to deliver in the UK will be Zavvi...............they have been a day early with my recent pre-orders

but i have gone for HMV because of the free 7" single
the music is jumbled so you cant copy the sound straight from the pc soundcard i rekon. if you use sound copying software like 'audacity' then you can rip the sound from the soundcard/speakers and convert to mp3 without downloading the song, so i figured they jumbled it so it sounds shite and people wont bother.

Yes and there still isn't a video up. If it was the video for the 2nd single they wouldn't have put "Video Soon" up so early and right above the Chidem single debut. If it was for a promo then why has it taken so long to put up? Why would they need to put a promo up on their own site? Some people are crossing their fingers and clutching at straws wanting it to be Better, but thats wishful thinking anddoesn't make sense to me. Thats my opinion. I think Chidem will get the first music video, i could be wrong, but from what is shown and told, it looks that way surely.

Well, RollingStone reported that a video was in the works. We haven't heard anything official yet, so as of now it's a rumour with a certain degree of credibility.
