Would love to see them go all out on election night on all the majors and the cable news channels since people will be watching lots of live tv! 

Come to think of it, any programs where people actually watch live instead of recording and fast forwarding through commericals is ideal.  Would be smart if they run ads during football the next three Sundays.

I was already intending to watch SNL anyway. ;) I wanted to see McCain's cameo, and the skit on Olbermann. Not too bad of a show tonight anyway, would've been better with a Macgruber or two, but the lovemaking DVD skit was pretty good.

Because it's better on TV!  It has a different feel to it.

Why do people go to sporting events instead of just watching it on TV?

I love the "KISS" saying. I said it in a meeting once, and I don't think most of the people there had heard it before (which kind of surprised me). I think most of them thought I was calling them stupid.  :hihi:

As far as getting a message out. How great would it be if GN'R performed on SNL on the 22nd? With the time of the show, they would first perform around midnight (release day). That would be a great way to get the press going.

Depending on where you live, you may not have missed it. I don't think it played in all markets - it didn't play here in Phoenix.

Thats why I like 'E' Channel...SNL is much better mid-day on a Monday or Tuesday, as a re-run.  There are much better things to do on a Saturday night, at least in NY.

i saw it!  i had to rewind it and watch it like 3 more times.  so awesome.  my friends were annoyed because they wanted to watch snl.  it led to an argument.

I didn't see the commercial either, and I live in Pennsylvania. At least I could see it online.

Some of us have been getting to know each other for the past 8 years, hoping for this.

Although the title of the album is paradoxal, i will always be grateful i found a real virtual democracy.

Yeah, they didn't air it here in CT either.  I checked it twice over.  No luck.  Hopefully it'll air ALL OVER the country tomorrow night during MNF.

I'd prefer it to be on SNF. I think that SNF probably gets a better viewing and the matchup tonight will have lots of people watching (Cowboys vs. Giants).

I live in Pennsylvania.  I saw it at the end of Saturday Night Live.  It was the last commercial before the end of the show.  I missed the first hour of the show, so I can't say whether or not it played prior to 12:55am
 
I wonder if they will use some of the other 15-second clips we saw a couple weeks ago after Tuesday's election since the clip I saw was the last of the options and included election language.

Actually SNF on NBC tonight is the Patriots vs. the Colts, which in years past has gotten huge ratings.  Although the teams aren't quite the same this year, but I'm sure it'll still do well.  The Cowboys and Giants play at 4 on Fox.

You're right, I got my football schedule mixed-up. Still a good matchup though which, like you said, should garner good ratings.
