Title: Chinese Democracy: conception to birth Post by: GNR_Green on November 01, 2008, 10:54:57 AM I don't know about anyone else but I'm looking forward to hearing the full story of the album's creation almost as much as hearing the album itself. I wonder if Axl is planning some huge interviews or even to release a statement of some sort? There must be so much to tell about lineup changes and record company and management politics.

Title: Re: Chinese Democracy: conception to birth Post by: AC on November 01, 2008, 12:16:16 PM I wouldn't expect that this happens to the degree that you're hoping. I think we can all agree that Axl is just another person like us that hates the media attention and simply doesn't need it. If you want someone to answer all your questions and be there to hold your hand through all this then maybe someone like 50 Cent or Lil Wayne is more your style. :peace:
Title: Re: Chinese Democracy: conception to birth Post by: younggunner on November 01, 2008, 12:35:40 PM he needs to talk about the album. Im not saying he has to start from 1996 but it would be nice to hear a solid summary of the whole process.
i really hope he remians silent when the album drops Title: Re: Chinese Democracy: conception to birth Post by: IKnowWhereIAM on November 01, 2008, 12:37:17 PM I would love to see an OFFICIAL, band sanctioned, bio on Chidem. It should include input and if possible interviews with ALL involved...I would like to know why 'This I Love' was dropped from UYI (if it was), why Slash didn't want to work on certain things, what Robin added to older songs, how Bucket changed things, etc...the whole story as each player sees it (with any bitterness and bullshit edited out) - conception to birth pretty much says it.
Perhaps Mick Wall could write it. :P I was serious up until the part about Mick... I expect the magazines are falling over themselves to get an exclusive story from Axl - I can imagine some huge bidding war being faught between them! |
