got it on my facebook and my desktop! so now i can have cd playing anytime on my desktop

how do i put it on my desktop? ???

doh! I thought it was a mac (dashboard) widget....

am i the only one that does not know what a widget is?  its the countdown clock, so you put it in your pc?

It's a tool that you can ad to your profile on social networking sites, etc. so that other people can see & share it.

I have added it on my Facebook.

meh - doesn't run to great on my facebook page.....

Ok to get it on your desktop you need windows vista (not sure if the mac alternative is availaible)

Click the link and go share
Next click "all" on the top and there is a list of loads of different programs and sites that widget can be added to, vista is near the bottom might be worth checking to see if there is one for macs

Only downside is the song repeats non-stop unless you press pause, so as soon as you log your computer on.......

the version I got wasn't the same as the single (thankfully)..To much echoing and over dubbed vocals..Possibly some sought of interuption in my wirelsess connection..

Is there a way to post it as a myspace bulletin?  i see no option, and when i paste the link, only the link is displayed, not the actual widget...

You paste the URL into your address bar and it brings up a page that you fill out.  I played with it alot last night lol

this is very cool! Does anybody know if there's any trick to put this thing on a Windows XP desktop (I dont have Vista here at my work place)

I don't know if this will help, but the site I used I took the "embed" option for the widget.  When I went to my page setup I hit the html option, pasted the embed code, then hit the html option again.  It worked like a charm on the site I'm using it on.

You need to add it manually to the active desktop!
To do this go to your desktop and right click, select "properties" in the display properties window that pops up select the "desktop" tab then "customise desktop" near the bottom of this window, in the new window select the "web" tab, select "new" in the window that pops up then add the url in the "location" field in the new window, click ok then click ok when it asks to add this item to your active desktop, click on ok on the remaining windows and it should now be on your desktop, I had to resize the window for the widget on the desktop to display the widget properly using the mouse to drag the corners.

I used this url as it has less borders than the other ones I tried.

I did all this step-by-step, but nothing happened. When I go back to the Web tab, the check-box and name of the item is gone, and when I try to add it again it says it already exists.

I put it on my desktop (Windows XP).  Only problem is the damn thing only plays once and then I have to syncronise to get it to go again  :hihi:
