Title: Was 10-22 the best / most exciting moment of your fanatism, in all these years?
Post by: estebanf on October 27, 2008, 10:01:48 PM
I was wondering...Was 10/22 the best / most exciting moment of your fanatism, in all these years?

I think it was. I can only compare the feelings I had in 22/10 with:

- Axl's announce of the GNR show in RIR-Lisbon
- The live-updates at the hammerstein shows, with all message boards having their ''most users online'' records, and we (the people that couldn't attend these shows) having like 76 opened windows in our Internet Explorar, trying to absorbe every single piece of updates / information, chatting with 213123 fans from all over the world, in different languages, etc.
- The Inland Invasion live stream and the insanity after it, with all the fan reviews
- June 2006, when the almost full soundboard recording / pro-shot video of Rock Am Ring appeared.
- The incredible setlist played at Hammerstein 12/5, including 6 new songs (Maddy, Street Of Dreams, CD, Better, IRS and... THERE WAS A TIME!)
- The tsunami of concert dates announced between april / may 2006

I would love to read your thoughts

I'd have to say the Hammerstein shows, actually. There was a lot riding on it - how Axl would sound, their image, the new guitarist, anticipation for the album...now that we have a definite date I'm a lot calmer for some reason. We don't have to hope, and dream anymore. We're really getting it.
