Title: Moving to the UK!
Post by: badapple81 on October 24, 2008, 05:04:11 AM
It's been a long time since posting here. I guess I took Axl's advice and 'took a break' :D

Anyways in January I am packing my bags and leaving Australia, travelling Thailand and then going back to my birthplace, England, to work a little and see my family again and then travel Europe and the States. Then, who knows!

Look fwd to catching up with other board members at some Euro shows when announced  : ok:

Nice one dude.  Well I'll probably be at a Manchester and a London one.

Always wanted to travel myself, still on the books to do it, eventually...

Whereabouts in England are you from?

I'm off to Phuket, Koh Samui and Ko Phangan for the Full Moon Festival and then Bangkok (usual touristy places).. then next year I hope to spend a couple of months and go up Chang Mai and then the rest of asia etc..

My family are in the West Midlands so I'll base myself there and work a little to save to travel :)

I know! I'm dreading it.. especially since I don't have any winter clothing and there is none in the shops here in Australia now leading into our summer! I needed to leave myself some time to find a job and save for summer 2009 travelling!

It wont be that cold, the way climate change has effected the UK it will more likely be T-shirt weather in january. I worked in the west midlands for a few weeks 2 years ago, its awful for traffic congestion and pollution :'(.
My mate stays there, his name Del, look him up, I'll tell him your coming : ok:

We can share our anger at the weather then, as that is my area too.
