In the past 4 years I've became a big extreme metal fan.. i listen everything black metal/grindcore/brutal death metal/ghotic/death/doom/etc.. i have like 1500 extreme metal discs, obviuosly i have the godflesh disc you played.. are you fan of any extreme metal band? I really hope he comes back, but GN'R have found themselves a hell of a replacement in Frank if he doesnt. If he does come back, as happy as that would make me, I would be equally as sad if Frank was left behind. Let's hope he's along for the ride moving forward. I like Frank- but it just seems like it should be Brain's gig seeing as he: (1) broke his balls in the studio working on the album for months on end; (2) has been there for all the "seminal events" of new GN'R (Vegas 01, RIR III 01, MSG 02, Hammerstein 06, etc.); and (3) is just a flat out phenomenal drummer- both live and in studio and apparently turns in some amazing efforts on CD. Off topic: Does anyone else find it cool that Axl has assembled a band composed entirely of the nicest people in rock n' roll? People like Frank, Brain, Robin, Ron, Richard... Certainly shows that Axl isn't the impetuous, angry child the media would have people believe!
