H?ppy birthday UYIs

When they were released, pubic hair was still a feature of distant future for me.
With keeping this in mind,  I would like to give you both a small pile of pubes as a symbol and token  of your ageless nature.
May they work as a talisman of your immortality.

UYI I&II, spend a wonderfull day!

What were you guys doing when they came out? I would love to hear what the new bandmembers think of them, I bet Pitman was only like 14 years old or so.

I got a chuckle out of it. Just the mental image of someone sitting down shaving their pubes saying, "This is for the Illusions...they'll live forever with these" cracks me up.

Thank you for taking time to visit this thread Jim Bob! I cant begin to describe how valuable your opinions always  are to me.
You are cute when you do the  whole "daddy's little moderator"- thing. <3

Hmm its chrazy how long ago it all happened..
I was just about to start properly listening to music around the time of their release..
Guess i was on 2nd grade back then.

I was 6 when these albums were released, and I was aware of them at the time, to think I would still be a GNR fan awaiting a new studio album at 23 is unthinkable. At least the consulation is that by the UYI 20th Anniversary in 2011 this will all look like a distant memory and we will have perhaps 3 new GNR albums

What I love about these albums is the fact that the lesser known songs, such as Dead Horse and Back Off Bitch, are still fuckin fresh after all these years. I love the tracks that people tend to forget about because when you need new GNR material you can stick on songs like So Fine and You Aint the First and it transports you back, but also still sounds like a new song, theres no denying it was a saving grace in the long run when the band released two studio albums instead of one. They could have released more, so the rumours say, but we will never know.
