Title: Bush Program Cuts Post by: Layne Staley's Sunglasses on September 16, 2008, 04:31:19 AM I'm compiling a list of government programs that have been axed under Dubya's tenure.
I know I can count on you guys for some much needed help. Any and all are welcome from 2001-to the present day and any program that is in danger of losing funding. Title: Re: Bush Program Cuts Post by: Dr. Blutarsky on September 16, 2008, 08:07:09 AM Bush is known for creating Gov't programs, which is contributing to the national debt.
I'm sure if you dig you'll find some programs he did cut, but growing Govt is the first thing that comes to my mind. He's no fiscal conservative. Title: Re: Bush Program Cuts Post by: Layne Staley's Sunglasses on September 16, 2008, 05:38:49 PM Obviously, his "tax cuts" have gone a long way in drying up funding for programs. Wars, military aide to aggressors, etc....
I can't seem to find a whole lot, I was hoping someone could name a few off the top of their heads. Title: Re: Bush Program Cuts Post by: freedom78 on September 16, 2008, 10:48:43 PM SCHIP...healthcare for poor kids. It comes to mind immediately, but I agree with Bluto (:o)...he's a worse spender than most liberals would dream of being. The main cuts he made were against the premises of fiscal responsibility.
