Axl?s strength lies in his epics??Estranged,?? November Rain,? etc. Now, imagine an opera, four to six hours long, filled with Axl?s soul-searching epics?The story would involve lots of solos, fat women with horned helmets and the story would center around unrequited love. Dennis Deyoung did a great job of making THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME into a musical. When I met Del james in Las Vegas, I told him it would be cool for him and Axl to do a GUNSNROSES CHRISTMAS CAROL. Look at the Who?s Quadrophenia. Imagine if Axl did something like that? Something really ambitious, with a narrative. Judas Priest just released a double conceptual album (albeit a mediocre one) Nostradamus, so it would be kind of cool if GN?R did something like that?with a play/film to go along.
