Title: Slash on Russell Brand radio show next week Post by: cyllan on August 24, 2008, 05:39:20 AM Slash will be a guest on Russell Brand's radio show next Saturday, 30 Aug. The show is broadcast on BBC Radio 2 and you can listen live (or later for up to 7 days) via the website - link below
http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio2/shows/brand/ Russell didn't say whether Slash would be in the studio or on the end of a phone line, but as Russell is currently working in Los Angeles and does the show live from there on Saturday nights, I suppose it's possible that Slash may drop by the studio. The show is broadcast 2100-2300 BST (British Summertime) - which translates as GMT +1. Anyone wishing to hear the genius of ol' Russ's ramblings can listen to last night's show via the link to the fan forum below where 'Auntie Nora' provides a download of the show within hours of its broadcast. (Russ makes the announcement about Slash towards the end of the show, and for info, last night's guests were Martin Clunes and yet another appearance by someone who's almost a regular on the show, Noel Gallagher.) http://www.russellbrandfansite.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=3&sid=8f6e0aea8c9a9de377612526b4a6d94b Title: Re: Slash on Russell Brand radio show next week Post by: cyllan on August 30, 2008, 04:55:04 PM Update to my earlier post. Russ has just said that Slash will be on the show next Sat 6 Sep, if he remembers to text him. ;D
Oh and if anyone is interested, he's said that Pink will be appearing at the VMAs - not that he was supposed to reveal that. ;) Title: Re: Slash on Russell Brand radio show next week Post by: cyllan on September 06, 2008, 04:09:10 PM Just a reminder that Slash will be a guest on Russell's show tonight - live from the VMA rehearsals.
Title: Re: Slash on Russell Brand radio show next week Post by: FunkyMonkey on September 06, 2008, 08:30:35 PM The interview is up now, it starts at about 1:29...http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/console/b00d9z8h
He says that he is presenting the Best Rock Video Award. He is asked about downloading and scoring a movie but doesn't really say anything remarkable. http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio2/shows/brand/ |
