filmmakers Elvis Mitchell, a former New York Times writer, and Timothy Greenfield-Sanders. The documentary features interviews with prominent African-Americans including Al Sharpton, former Temple women's basketball coach Dawn Staley, Slash of Guns N' Roses/Velvet Revolver, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Toni Morrison, Colin Powell, Chris Rock, Keenan Ivory Wayans and Serena Williams.
