1. Axl had a beard. 2. Axl wore the Ankle/leg brace. Axl had a beard. He had a full beard for the 1992 European tour and then a thinner, less caveman like beard for the rest of the whole tour. Before the European tour he was clean shaven 2. Axl wore the Ankle/leg brace. He wore this for a lot of the first USA leg in 1991. He still hand it around the St Louis Show i think. He had to wear this after injuring himself during You Could Be Mine at the Ritz 1991 warm up gig.
