At the moment it would have to be 'Liberty leading the People' by Delacroix - funny coincidence that it happens to be the cover of 'Viva La Vida'! Liberty Leading the People but who exactly is leading who? Is the the street urchin with a pistol, the bourgeoisie with a rifle or the proletarian with a sabre? They all seem to be lead by a collective conviction. The smoke behind them could symbolize a new beginning - a chance to start over. Guernica by Picasso is a great piece of art too.
