Here Today... Gone To Hell!

One of my all-time favorite Saturday Night Live sketches made a reappearence last night during the 2008 MTV Movies awards. I loved the original sketches and the movies. As a huge fan of the sketch I thought I would post a link up so you can check it out . I never watch these awards shows but I do check out the clips afterwards cuz there is sometimes funny spoofs. This wayne's world clip was pretty funny and good classic wayne's world humor.  :smoking:

Dude that was fucking awesome.  It's cool to see those two be able to patch things up and work together again.  Hopefully we'll see a Wayne's World 3!!!

Your (and my)  country does that too - we can't watch video from the BBC site here in the US. And in that case it really is the 'country' as opposed to a private company.

Overkill?  You mean one 3 minute segment in 14 years is overkill?  Wayne's World the movie was damn classic.  That movie set the bar for SNL  movies back in the 90's.

Wayne's World 3, if done properely would be a nice nostalgia bit.  Nothing wrong with keeping something going, as long as it's done up to par.

But basically what I'm saying is this, I'd rather watch a 90's nostalgia act that is "overkill", other than the majority of bullshit that is spewed out in this day and age.  I'd take 10 more Nightmare on Elm Street sequels, instead of a crappy fucking remake that is going to retard the series and dumb it up for the stupid shits out there today.

I agree.......I think that Tia Carrere or whatever her name was would come back, she's doing like straight to video movies and shit now.

I was reading though, the reason they never made a WW3 was because apparently Dana Carvey was pissed at Mike because of the Dr. Evil character.  Apparently Dana used to do that imitation of Lorne Michaels way back before Austin Powers was even a thought in his mind.  And Mike pretty much just took the character's mannerisms and such and used them as Dr. Evil without Dana's permission.  They didn't speak for the longest time, but good to see they're rocking on again.
