Title: rasheed wallace loves gnr
Post by: greekmule on May 23, 2008, 05:12:34 PM
( i know this has no significant relation to gnr so feel free to merge. just posting it for fun ;))

i love rasheed wallace. apart from his great all around basketball game he has a great personality.

so i was watching the 2nd game of the nba playoffs between boston and detroit. 10.7 seconds to go in the 4th quarter,

detroit leads by 3 and boston calls timeout. if you take in mind that boston is undefeated at home and it is the conference finals after all,

one would think that the stakes are pretty high.

and what does 'sheed do? 10 seconds left, tight game........and Sheed is rocking out to Paradise City.

I love Rasheed. He's so fun to watch. And he's atleast a casual GNR fan. So he wins. Go Pistons (vs. Lakers) in the Finals.

Thanks

This was a great burden lifted from my mind

Knowing that a thug like Rasheed Wallace was rocking to a Gnr tune during a game

Awesome : ok:

He gave me fits during his time in Portland, and again in 2004 as a Piston.

But what a personality!  I bet he's blasting GN'R in those giant headphones of his in the locker room before and after games.

I grew up in Philly while Rasheed was going to Simon Gratz High School.  I've always thought he was a great player (even back then) and now I like him even more.
