Title: On release of CD...
Post by: wight gunner on April 30, 2008, 12:09:39 PM
Does Jarmo et al have a piece written to go with the annoucement? Newspapers do it all the time, along with other news agencies. They tend to have tributes to the Queen, the Prime Minister and significant others incase of sudden death, already written.  If not may I suggest you write one,  like

Jarmo said "I told you it would drop, and to all the doubters out there, time to move on....."

I think the question is this:

Has jarmo "prewritten" the news item that he's going to put up on the main page, and on the forum, when the announcement comes that Chinese Democracy is going to be (or actually is) released.

Most newspapers have a stock obituary ready to go for many of the worlds prominent leaders....just in case something unexpected happens to them and they need it on short notice.

No.

Well then...you need to get right on that.

Your homework assignment tonight is to write a one hundred to one hundred fifty word "fuck off" to all the doubters, which will be incorporated into your "news item" for CD when it appears.

We'll get to the other parts later...

 :P

Is the OP's question REALLY that hard to understand?

Or are you still buzzing from your drinking binge after watching the Rangers game last night?

In all seriousness, I don't think the question is TOO out there.  The thread starter is simply wondering if jarmo's completely prepped and ready to go...maybe just filling in the dates...when the Press Release comes about CD's release date.

jarmo says no

End of thread.

:)

Hey caped crusader...this isn't Gotham city and other posters don't need you to stick up for them

His question was confusing and I wasn't the only one who thought so

As for the Rangers.....yes, you are right on the money with that one!

I didn't mean to stick up for him.

I was being serious:  Was it really that confusing?

I guess the answer is yes...because lots of people were confused.  And I doubt ALL of them were Ranger fans.

I'd say there's plenty of time.

Ha, ha.  Pretty tricky.  I'd take a tentative release date for just about anything at this point.

Maybe, perhaps, you could define et,al;

Do you know something the rest of should know?

Just wondering ...

Bottom line - keep those threads simple.  Try to keep words under six letters.  Limit abbreviations.

Jarmos Speech
"my fellow gnrians, i speak to you today, on this great day of victory. For we have won Chinese Democracy around the world. Its been a long journey, good times and bad, a struggle, but a struggle that kept a community together. For we have fought the onslaught of rumors and celebrity arguments. We are finally here. I now declare this day V C -Day!"
