Last few days Fortus joined re-formed X-Japan on a few songs.

Yes, very bad audio, but he is in there.. together with Wes Borland ex-Limp Biz, but who cares about him  :peace:

wow, i think it's awesome he's playing with x japan and wes borland. Wes is a great guitar player regardless of how bad limp sucks.

i wanna check this once i get home. work sucks and youtube is restricted in here. but thanks for sharing  :beer:

To add, on the X-Japan forums they are very positive about Fortus.... his playing in GnR (which many seem to have seen the last tour, they called him the best guitarist in GnR) and also his performance with X.

I hear the first show started 2 hours and half late.
the guy on the drums and piano, Yoshiki, lives in la and is friends with Richard.

Yes it was an unbelievable experience watching the shows 'live' (or as best as I could with the buffering stream).

Richard was very energetic onstage as always, it was good to see him and PATA playing together, two of my favorite guitarists.

There is one X Japan fan forum called x-freaks that I frequent which actually does have alot of GNR fans and hence, people who were familiar with Richard, and appreciate him greater seeing his performance with X Japan. Hopefully if they continue to tour (and it doesn't interrupt any GNR plans), he will play with them.

I found many high quality vids of the shows but not of the songs with Richard in them, so I'll update when I get them  :peace:

great idea to keep busy, although the band sucks...

that's your opinion I don't particulary desagree on.... shhh, X japan has a huge rabid following :-X .

People might not be aware of this but Richard only played one or two songs with them, not the full set.

We understand that ben and attilla is posting the one or two songs for us.

This is a little off topic but I got an e-mail from Richard today, he's writing a Psychedelic Furs record  with Richard Butler right now and is planning on doing some dates with them (not sure when)-seems like a great guy, I love his playing-he said he's played with the furs in Cleveland (where I'm from) and with Love spit love)-I just think think he's been awsome with Guns live.

Cheers for that update, been following his projects. I think he is the best guitarist in GnR atthe moment, should get all leads if you ask me  :peace:

He had me at the 2002 vma's-especially on Madagascar and playing Paradise City-the smile on his face, he was playing with so much enthusiasm
