Title: WTTJ Videos that Rocked the World!! Post by: LIGuns on March 19, 2008, 01:12:00 PM Just watched WTTJ on FUSE's Videos that Rocked the World..Sought of adds to Axl's mystique on how he is absent for all interviews involving GN'R.
Also I felt the special was misleading..I recall WTTJ becoming big on the heals of SCOM..The special made it sound as though WTTJ became big after a 4AM (Headbangers Ball) airing.. One interesting tid bit I was unaware of was that Izzy is the "drug dealer" who confronts Axl at the bus stop.. All in all it is always cool to see GN'R in a positive spot light. More bands should have learned not to give up on a video..After SCOM, WTTJ was re-released..I always felt Extreme should have done that after More than Words broke..Instead they released Hole-Hearted and were typecast... I saw the show too, pretty good stuff. Recycled information, nothing new, but always good to see GNR related programs. |
