I know one poster a year later got a refund from his girlfriend. I also know he never answered multiple emails from myself and others requesting our money back. So yes he did screw over a bunch a people. Craig DID NOT publicly offer a refund - A year or so later his girl sent a msg to someone and then that was posted. I remember seeing the refund thread here EONS ago, and I do remember him also putting it up over at ROV/GNRevolution. E-mail him and ask him yourself if you still need a refund: darknemus@gmail.com Title: Re: Hammerstein DVD's Post by: Mr. Redman on February 24, 2008, 10:55:19 AM I wasn't stupid enough to send him money. The refund thred was here, but I'm 98% sure it wasn't posted by Dark.

Either that, or the darknemus I've met in real life and the MSL that I've spoken to on the phone are damn good at talking completely differently. A typically bizzare GN'R tale of the last 10 years. who i am has been verified many times by many people. reporters, fans, beta, del, axl's lawyer, etc. a pro wrestler out for attention with no inside contacts managing to secure several unreleased recordings is definitely a bizarre tale. the truth is sometimes bizarre . . . Repeat after me slowly: darknemus. did. not. screw. anyone. over. Here: Repeat after me Slowly: Yes. He. Did. A lot of us trusted him to deliver the DVDs. Then he disappeared. Later ONE person after close to a year said they finally managed to get money back from his girlfriend. Myself and several others continued to (politely) ask for refunds or DVDs from his girlfriend and him through the email account HE provided and at one time worked. There was never a response. Additionally, after months of not appearing on the board one of the mods asked his to explain himself in this section (he was posting in the regular GNR section). Someone set up a thread and he never did. I'm not even sure if he posted after that. We can probably go back and forth over this until this post is 10 pages long, so let's just say we have a difference of opinion about what ripping off someone means and drop it. Maybe the guy has an excuse, whatever, I don't even care anymore. I took a risk, I got burned, but I wanted to help get the DVDs out there and in the past have successfully laid down money to liberate shows. The good thing is that these shows are out there now. The sad thing is we're arguing over something that's coming up on its two year anniversary. Title: Re: Hammerstein DVD's Post by: MisterSaintLaurent on March 18, 2008, 01:22:25 AM i don't know too much about the hammerstein DVD situation, but i've read enough over the last year or so to know that clearly many people did not get their money back. i don't know how much money we're talking here, but whether it was a dollar or fifty dollars, it's still not cool.
but with that said, i refuse to believe nemus would intentionally rip anyone off. the length that guy went through to get the GNR community leak after leak after leak while never asking for a cent in return, not to mention the fact that he inspired me to do what i did, there's no doubt in my mind nemus deserves a free pass on this hammerstein thing. every new song we have is either directly or indirectly because of darknemus. period. that should not be forgotten. NYCBitch authorings. there were some issues when they got out. but now, everybody can download them on various places, including the tracker. even more, there are better versions authored by jemin, without watermarks. Title: Re: Hammerstein DVD's Post by: MikeD on March 18, 2008, 05:38:41 PM Correct, the DVDs area pretty good. Is the GNROSAS's version of 5.12 a separately taped show or just a cleaner version of the NYCBitch one. I haven't seen GNROSAS's.
