Title: Need Help Converting Avi to dvd Post by: Sober_times on February 18, 2008, 10:42:53 PM I figured maybe you guys can help out with a problem I am having. Im a noob at making dvds. I recently got a dvd burner and have several downloaded avi files. I would like to make these avi files into dvds and play them on my dvd player. I attempted to make one into a dvd using windows dvd maker. I selected the proper aspect ratio I desired and put in NTSC and followed those directions. The problem I'm having is when I play the dvd in my dvd player It does not fill the letter box when I made it 16:9 and it doesnt fill the screen if i make it 4:3. The video just doesnt fill the screen top to bottom or left to right. Its like im watchin it on windows media player without selecting full screen. Does anyone have any suggestions on how this can be fixed? Or does it have to do with the AVI file? Any help would be great! Thanks. :smoking:
