Title: Axl's Stylist
Post by: Angel Down on February 15, 2008, 01:33:53 AM
I call them 'the Buckethead' years, you know when Axl's style changed, and he adopted that football jersey look.

Who was Axl's stylist then?

Personally, I've always thought that 'the french' had more taste than that.  >:(

Not sure if Axl had a stylist...

He probably chooses his clothes himself.

At least that's what I remember at this article printed in the Italian Vogue sometime last year or in 2006...

I know for certain that  a  'stylist'  ::)  is responsible for the 'football jersey' look, not Axl.

Axl's true sense of style is most definately reflected in the clothes we see him in today, last year and/or 2006.

Nah, the french style doesn't exist, only in magazines, it's a marketing thing.
The most stylish for men comes from italy and great britain. ( Paul Smith for instance)

axl was wearing the jerseys off stage also during that time. i doubt a stylist told him what to wear 24/7

That depends on who the stylist happened to be.

But what's the point to have a stylist if you only wear what he tells you to wear when you're onstage? Shouldn't you follow his opinion also off stage if you want to look credible? And I bet Axl doesn't like to be told what to wear anyway.

I think Del James wore football jerseys back in the "old days" (I could be wrong though). If that's true Axl coulda adopted his look.

Instead of spamming the board with your suggestions and hints, just say what you wanna say.

It's fairly obvious that you want to post "I know who Axl's "stylist" is!".

While you're at it, did you find those pics of you and GN'R on that roller coaster?
