Title: Good Idea that may be better, less confusing than the Karma Post by: D on February 11, 2008, 08:47:07 PM Instead of the karma, Since no one has any idea how many means u are banned, how bout u use soccer type rules.
If someone is in danger of being banned they get a Yellow Card. Last Warning u get a double Yellow card. For a month with the double yellow, u aren't allowed to do certain things "Maybe start threads or something, I don't know* and if u don't break any rules within that month u go back to a yellow, nother month u are back to being free. If u have a double yellow, the slightest infraction warrants a ban. You just dont replace that. Just because it has worked in other places, doesnt mean it is worthy of working for Jarmo on this legendary sight. All these people ready to annoint this as the greatest thing ever really piss me off.

People think we use the karma feature as some kind of popularity contest. like I guess it was originally intended, but it's just a way to keep track of who has been warned. In the past, we might've warned the same guy ten times and nothing happened.
